Notes: this is the first ever album cover which was produced but rejected in favour of the official one. It is based on photographs which Alan Wilder took himself.

It is a unique item - the one and only ever made - and was part of Alan Wilder's personal collection.

The printed card was obviously hand cut and glued.

 

Says Alan: "I always preferred this artwork but allowed myself to be talked out of using it. These days I'd probably insist on having my own way. I kept this version as a memento and re-discovered it."
